Care and Cleaning

I try my best to make sure my jewelry can stand up to everyday life but life can sometimes be unpredictable. If your jewelry is damaged please contact me and I will try my very best to repair or replace the damaged item.

Be Careful:

  • Do not wear while bathing, swimming or sleeping. Moisture may cause discoloration and or accelerated wear to your jewelry.
  • Do not bend glass. Duhh…
  • try not to rub off any varnish or sealant
  • be gentle

Cleaning:

  • Glass– Gently wipe away smudges and fog with a microfiber cloth or paper towel and any household glass cleaner.
  • Washers– Buff away tarnish with a jewelry cleaning cloth or a retired t-shirt.
  • Ball Bearings- Wipe clean with a dry cloth or paper towel. DO NOT use water or any degreasing cleaners. The ball bearings are made of steel they are susceptible to rust. The oils from your skin can actually help prevent your jewelry from rusting.

Storage

  • To prevent rust and tarnish store jewelry in a jewelry box with tarnish cloth or seal each piece in a zip lock bag
  • hang necklaces or lay flat
  • When traveling wrap necklaces and bracelets around a small card so they don’t tangle
